Description

Majoon generally is spoken for all those preparations, which are produced from drug powder and Qiwam (Basic Solution of Particular consistency) of sugar or Asl (Honey). Word Majoon is derived from Ijn, which means to mix. In this preparation powder of drugs is mixed well in Qiwam (Basic Solution of Particular consistency) of sugar or Asl (Honey). Their names are given on the name of inventor, chief ingredients or action. Majoon Najah (MN) is an age old and time tested polyherbal preparation of Unani system of medicine which is commonly used in depression and related conditions. It is useful in depression, schizophrenia, hysteria, epilepsy etc.
